Our on-line auctions take place on our auction website 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each item has been donated to HOPE International and all proceeds from the winning bids will go towards our work with the poor around the world. Winning is simple... you just need to make the highest bid on an item. Remember, you not only have the chance to win a great item, but you are helping the poor. Please take note that many of the prizes do have some basic conditions. Most are valid for 6-12 months and are subject to availability. Using the On-line Bidding Portal:You can browse our many items via the categories listed on the left side of the Auction pages. Please take your time to enjoy exploring our many items and also take note of all the sponsors and individuals who have graciously made these wonderful articles enabling you to win great value while helping the poor and needy of the world. Although many of the fantastic items have international appeal, many of the items are specific to Japan. As such, all values are expressed in Yen (JP¥) and all bids must be made in JP¥. Please visit any on-line currency conversion tool to get current exchange rates. However, the final amount in your local currency will depend on the appropriate bank exchange rate at the time of payment. Please see our payment procedures for more information on how to make payment for your winning items. Important Notes:By placing a bid, the bidder is agreeing to the Auction Terms and Conditions and the item-specific terms and conditions listed below. If you are concerned, please contact the Auction Administrator at auction@hope.or.jp. When you bid, you will be asked to state your maximum bid. This is meant to save you coming back repeatedly to see if you have been outbid. The auction software will automatically bid for you in increments. So for example, if you bid a maximum of 100,000 yen and the next highest maximum bid was 70,000 yen, you would win the item for 73,000 yen. Please note that at certain thresholds the amount of the increments changes. They are as follows: 0 - 50,000 = 1,000 Yen
